About Petits Poussins Three
Petits Poussins Three belongs to a group of bilingual preschools and daycares that offers 3 different locations in West Harlem welcoming students from three months to five years old. Our schools provide bilingual classes that are inspired by the French national curriculum as well as the New York State Early Childhood Education standards.
Our program offers three different sections: Infants (3 to 12 months), Toddlers (12 to 24 months) and Preschool (2 to 3 years, and 3+) in age groups allowing homogeneous teaching.
Our curriculum focuses in-depth on bilingualism and early language acquisition, along with the development of our children’s fine and gross motor skills and creativity. Our vocabulary-rich curriculum, infused with sing-along and read-aloud at all ages, helps our children develop vocabulary in a stress-free environment. This also leads to building a second language that our children are eager to communicate with, by using what they have learned in class in their everyday lives and daily routine.
At Petits Poussins Three, learning takes place in various ways, such as storytelling, singing, and doing arts. We value all our children’s “multiple intelligences” and help them learn in the best atmosphere. Teaching is individualized according to each child’s needs.
